Texas Success Initiative
Under the Texas Success Initiative (TSI), all undergraduate students entering a Texas public institution of higher education must be assessed for readiness to enroll in academic coursework. If you are transferring from a Texas public college or university, your TSI status should be reflected on your official transcript. If you are transferring from a non-Texas college or institution, or a private Texas college or institution, please click here for more information on how to meet this required standard.
Core Curriculum
Students need to have either completed a minimum of 42 core curriculum semester hours at another accredited institution, or will need to complete core curriculum requirements at TAMU-CC. Students transferring from out- of-state will be required to complete the TAMU-CC core curriculum.
