Brod was greeted at the Corpus Christi
Airport in style by four student council officers at Jones Elementary. Also
greeting Brod were Mary Beth Tierce, Tina Ybarra, and Rosario Garces as
well as Marsha Grace.
Brod loved the limo, and he entertained
us all the way back to the campus with poems and songs.
Brod was never too busy to do a little
reading. We caught him taking a look at the Corpus Christi Caller Times
in between his book signing, speaking, and more book signing.
Brod took time to visit our favorite book store. Rainbow
Books at the corner of Alameda and Doddridge is a great place to buy
a book, meet a friend, or sit and browse. Brod posed with Chuck and Barbara
Flanigan - two great friends of the university.
