Music Theory and Aural Training
Welcome to the Music Theory website of the Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi Music Department! Within these pages, you will find a great deal of information and tutorials designed to expand your knowledge of Music Theory, beginning with Music Fundamentals, the first semester of the Music Theory sequence for Music majors and minors at TAMUCC. Topics covered are note reading, key signatures, scales, elements of rhythm, triad and seventh chord building and recognition, inversion symbols and figured bass, harmonic indexing and an introduction to voice leading.
