Consultations

A free, drop in service for students, faculty, staff and community members To schedule an appointment, contact the Women's Center at (361) 825-2792.

The Women's Center Director, Rhonda Wilson Williamson, can provide referral information about personal issues including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, sexual assault recovery, and eating disorders as well as information on campus and community resources.

Referral consultation with Rhonda at the Women’s Center DOES NOT constitute a counseling relationship. Rather, it is intended to provide information and help you get connected with other campus and community resources. Referral consultation differs from a counseling relationship in that referral is not ongoing and no records are kept, either by Rhonda or the Women’s Center.

In addition, while the Women’s Center sets a high standard of confidentiality and discretion for its staff, the confidentiality and privacy of consultation cannot be guaranteed. Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi students who wish to see a counselor may contact the University Counseling Center at (361) 825-2703, Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm to schedule an intake appointment. For both students and non-students, Rhonda Wilson Williamson can provide referral information about other campus resources.
