Jennifer Hinojosa

I am deeply obliged for the foundation that Jeanette Holloway supported. Through her generous contribution I have been able to participate in an internship with The Women’s Center of Education and Service at Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi.

My dream after graduation is to pursue a career in event planning. With this event coordinating position I have learned many skills that will help to serve me in my future profession.

While accomplishing my internship at the Women’s Center I have had the opportunity to meet many people that are active in social service to the community. This has made me appreciate civil service and all of the people that put in extra time to make our community more aware of issues that need to be faced and worked on.

I feel that I have grown as a person and student with this internship by focusing more on time management, setting goals, and being more organized in general. Because of this internship, I believe that more opportunities will be presented to me in the future, and for that I am sincerely grateful.
