Kimberly Perez

As a special event intern I have learned so many things. Having the opportunity to experience these life lessons has helped me to grow as a person and as an involved student. Never had I imagined that having an intern job would teach me so much.

Before becoming an intern at the Women’s Center I really was not that involved in University related things. Now that I have become an intern, my collegiate years have begun to feel more meaningful and successful with everyday that goes by. I now feel that I am able to put my coursework to use and that I can apply the experiences that I have learned here at the Women’s Center to use in my career.

To be given an opportunity like this is a special privilege. I feel very lucky to have been able to experience such great things and to have been able to make such great relationships.
