The new major in Economics
is offered with two degree options, the Bachelor of Arts from the College
of Liberal Arts and the Business Bachelor of Arts from the College
of Business.
Students earning the B.A. in Economics take core courses in macroeconomics,
microeconomics, money and banking, international economic issues, managerial
economics, and econometrics. These courses are taught in the College
of Business.
B.A. in Economics students select electives in sociology, history, and
political science, courses that are taught in the College of Liberal Arts. Please see the B.A. in Economics
