Now that you have been *admitted, there are a couple of steps you need to complete before you can register as an Islander. The steps below are REQUIRED, unless otherwise noted, for all students admitted to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. For more information on any of these requirements, please click on the links provided, or contact the Office of Admissions and Records by phone at 361-825-2624.

First Time Freshmen

    1. Update/verify current mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address.
    2. Submit your THEA test scores or exemptions.
    3. Complete your verification of Receipt of Meningitis Information.
    4. Apply for financial assistance (optional).
    5. Apply for scholarships (optional).
    6. Submit a housing application (optional).
    7. Register for and attend New Student Orientation. (Attendance is REQUIRED for any student with less than 30 college credit hours).

Transferring Freshmen (1 to 29 college credit hours)

    1. Update/verify current mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address.
    2. Submit your THEA test scores or exemptions.
    3. Complete your verification of Receipt of Meningitis Information.
    4. Apply for financial assistance (optional).
    5. Apply for scholarships (optional).
    6. Submit a housing application (optional).
    7. Register for and attend New Student Orientation. (Attendance is REQUIRED for any student with less than 30 college credit hours)

Transferring Students (30+ college credit hours)

    1. Update/verify current mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address.
    2. Complete your THEA requirements (if applicable).
    3. Complete your verification of Receipt of Meningitis Information.
    4. Apply for financial assistance (optional).
    5. Apply for scholarships (optional).
    6. Submit a housing application (optional).
    7. Register for and complete/attend Transfer Transition Workshop. (Optional, but strongly recommended)
