Military residents and dependents are entitled to pay resident tuition. To qualify for resident tuition, military personnel shall submit at the time of each enrollment a military exemption form from their commanding officer or personnel officer certifyingthat they are then assigned to duty in Texas and that the same will be in effect at the time of such enrollment in a public institution of higher education. Military exemption forms are available at the Veteran's Affairs Office or the Office of Admissions & Records.



All recipients of Veteran's Assistance educational benefits are expected to maintain satisfactory progress in order to assure continued receipt of benefits payments. For further information, please contact the office of Veteran's Affairs located in the classroom East Building.



The Hazelwood Act provides for an exemption of tuition amd most fees for veterans who meet the state criteria. Please check with the Office of Veteran's Affairs for current guidelines.
