Credit by Examination
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi recognizes the validity of accepting credit for specified levels of achievement on institutionally-approved standardized examinations, such as the CLEP, DSST, ACTFL, Advanced Placement (AP), and International Baccalaureate (IB) exams. For questions with regard to the transferability of these exams to A&M-Corpus Christi, please consult the University catalog or with the Office of Admissions. For information regarding the applicability of these tests to specific degree programs, students should contact their academic advisor.
The Office of Academic Testing administers all College-Level Exam Program (CLEP), DSST, and ACTFL exams. CLEP and DSST exams are administered on the dates designated below. (NOTE: If your desired date no longer appears when registering for the exam, that session has closed and is no longer available for registration.) Please contact the Office of Academic Testing with questions about appointment times for the ACTFL or about special test accommodations for any of these exams.

ACTFL Test Taker Agreement Form and ACTFL Proficiency Assessments Application for Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi This Test Taker Agreement form is required by Language Testing International (LTI), the official licensee of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, Inc. The candidate is agreeing to the standards and policies set by LTI for the ACTFL. The candidate is also required to complete the application for ACTFL Language Proficiency Assessments for Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Both forms should be submitted to the Office of Academic Testing. |
