The Pollution Prevention Partnership is an active participant in the statewide
"Drive Clean Across Texas" program. Drive
Clean Across Texas strives to educate the Texas driving public about transportation choices and how
they impact air quality. Gretchen Arnold (at left) with the Pollution Prevention Partnership stands

Do you know what "Stop at the Click" means? Possibly you have seen these stickers on gas pumps
as you fuel up your vehicle. Stop at the click means to stop fueling your vehicle when the pump clicks off the first time. Many of us are tempted to continue to "click" the pump until the tank is completely topped off or attempting to round up your purchase to an even dollar amount. This practice contributes to air pollution in a lot of ways. It risks spilling fuel on the ground - releasing lots of vapors into the air. It also forces vapors out of your tank and into the air. In addition, it can disable pollution prevention equipment in your vehicle.
The Pollution Prevention
Partnership is proud to coordinate this program and thanks Circle K for supporting it.
