Anyone under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by their legal guardian at all times. Children may not be left at the Field House or Glasscock Fitness & Wellness Center while parents attend class, work, etc.

Shirts and non-marking court shoes are required throughout the facilities. (No open-toed sandals, boots, or dress shoes allowed.)

Foods and drinks are prohibited in all workout areas, with the exception of water bottles. Tobacco products are prohibited in all indoor facilities and the swimming pool.

 

Aerobic Rooms

Aerobic rooms can be reserved by academic classes or by recognized campus organizations.  The rooms may not be used for personal use.  They should be secured when classes are not in session.

No high heels or other sharp objects are allowed on the floor. 

 

Baseball/Softball Fields

The softball and baseball fields are primarily for use by the athletic teams.  In rare circumstances these fields may be reserved for special events.  Contact the Recreational Sports office at x2454 for more information.

 

Field House Gym

Classes or scheduled events have priority in the facility.  Open recreation participants will have to vacate the gym when the event/class or set up for next event begins.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

NO DUNKING.

When necessary, the curtain may be lowered to accommodate two different open recreation activities.  Recreational Sports employees or Physical Plant employees should be the only ones to raise and lower the curtain and baskets

Anytime the volleyball standards are used, the safety padding must be placed on the poles.


Game Room

Equipment can be checked out at the equipment desk.

 

Glasscock

Towels are required in the weight room at Glasscock Fitness and Wellness Center. They are available for checkout with a valid ID.

No bags are allowed in the weight room.

Children under the age of 18 are not allowed in the weight room at anytime!

Academic classes have priority to use equipment.

Cardio equipment use is limited to 30 minutes if the equipment is in demand.

Participants should use collars and spotters for free weight use.  Participants should rack their own weights and put equipment back if moved.

 

Intramural Fields

Classes, athletics or scheduled events have priority on the fields.  Open recreation participants have access to Intramural fields, but not the softball and baseball diamonds.  Participants will have to vacate area when scheduled event/class begins.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

During inclement weather, facility supervisors/attendants will ask patrons to clear the fields.

No vehicles are allowed on field or surrounding areas.

No one should be on the fields during irrigation.

 

Racquetball Courts

Reservations may be made 24 hours in advance, but reservations are not required. Reservations are forfeited 10 minutes after the scheduled time.  If they arrive late and there is an open court, they may take the court for the remainder of the hour.

Reservations are for one hour time slots.  Individuals may not reserve more than one court in their name at any given time, or for two consecutive hours.

EYE GUARDS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR RACQUETBALL, BI-RAKIT, OR HANDBALL and are available in the equipment check out room.

Courts #3 and #4 may be reserved for Wallyball.

 

Tennis Courts

Reservations are not taken for the tennis courts.  Use of the courts is on a first come, first served basis.

Lights for the courts will be turned on as needed.
