1:00-3:00 - Zazen, kinhin, and chanting
3:45-6:00 - Zazen, kinhin, and chantingZazen (meditation) practice is for people of all faith, or no faith, for spiritual development or stress management. Meditation and chanting may lead to spiritual growth and enlightenment. It also contributes to good health, stress management, relaxation, fine arts, martial arts, etc.
You are encouraged to spend the entire day with us, but feel free to come or leave at any time. (If you are new to meditation, please attend the instruction session.) Dress comfortably in plain dark clothes. Bring your own cushion and mat or thick blanket for floor-sitting, or use one of our chairs. We'll be removing our shoes upon entering the meditation hall but feel free to wear socks.
