	All business originating in Nueces County qualifies for this rate.
National Rates
	All advertisers who are not located in Nueces County .
Premium Rates
	If you would like to request a specific placement of your advertisement then an extra 20% is charged.
Deadlines
	Island Waves published on Thursdays throughout the academic year. Advertising should meet submission deadlines.

Publication Day	Deadline for space reservation and all ad materials
Thursday	The Thursday prior to the submission date at 5 p.m.

Pre-printed inserts

Pre-printed inserts may be placed in Island Waves at a rate of $150.00 per 1,000 inserts.

• Minimum number of inserts 1000. Maximum number of insert 3000
• Minimum size of inserts 3''x5''. Maximum size of inserts 8''x11''

* Even distribution of inserts is not guaranteed to advertisers who do not place the maximum number of inserts.

All inserts must be approved by the Editor-in-Chief and space must be reserved by the appropriate advertising deadlines prior to shipping the pre-printed inserts to our printer. Multi-advertiser inserts and/or inserts with accordion folds are not accepted.

All inserts must be pre-printed and must arrive at least one week (5 business days) prior to publication date to:
