On behalf of the entire campus community, welcome to the Texas A&M University-Corpus Chrisit!

Waves of Welcome (WOW) is a campus-wide series of events designed to encourage student involvement and belonging. WOW is intended to assist students in making a meaningful transition to campus life and becoming a responsible member of the university community.

The WOW Committee Goals are to:

-Increase awareness of campus services and resources.

-Increase students’ attitudes/feelings of belonging, preparedness for college, intent to persist, and institutional commitment.

-Increase students’ commitment to campus involvement.

-Increase actual retention rates of students.

Waves of Welcome is designed to assist you in becoming more familiar with your campus and the many resources available to help you succeed here. 

We encourage you to view this site and make plans to attend as many events as you can.  At these events, you will meet many of your fellow Islanders as well as network with faculty, staff, and A&M-Corpus Christi student leaders.  I wish you the best as you continue your year at A&M-Corpus Christi and hope you enjoy what the university has to offer!
