When you join a traditionally African-American or Latino fraternity or sorority you become a member of a larger organization; the Multi-Cultural Greek Council.  The Council consists of four executive officers, representatives from each chapter and an advisor from the Department of University Center and Student Activities.  The council meets bi-weekly to discuss current issues, community service initiatives, and event showcasing each organization.  Every Multi-Cultural Greek Council organization has an individual cultural focus, however, none of the groups are culturally exclusive.
