Island to Ice 2006 is an Antarctic themed collaboration between
Antarctic researchers from the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico
Studies in Corpus Christi, Texas and Papamoa School in Papamoa, New Zealand.
Other people are welcome
This project allows students to interact with Antarctic researchers, by asking questions by email, viewing online journal entries written in Antarctica and through classroom visits prior to and after the trip. Island to Ice 2006 is a continuation of the 2004 and 2005 Island to Ice projects that were run by University of Texas Marine Science Institute researchers.
