Antarctic Scientists:

  • I, Terry Palmer (terry.palmer@tamucc.edu) am a researcher studying benthic ecology at the Harte Research Institute in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Harte Research Institute is part of Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.  Benthic ecology is the study of organisms in the sea floor, such as bivalves, snails, shrimp and worms.  I am from Papamoa, New Zealand and this is the third time that I have travelled to Antarctica.

  • Larry Hyde is also a researcher at HRI.  He is from Texas and this is his first time to Antarctica.

  • Andrew Klein and Terry Wade are both scientists from Texas A&M University at College Station, Texas.  Andrew has been to Antarctica over five times but this is the first time for Terry Wade.
